Qualys Cloud Platform 2.0 (ITAM/CSAM) API notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 2.0 (ITAM/CSAM) includes an updated API which is targeted for release in July 2021. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

What’s New
Get Count of Assets
/rest/2.0/get/am/asset
With this release, we’ve updated API v2 to get the count of assets by filtering with the newly introduced software.authorization and asset.criticalityScore attributes.

Get Host Details of Specific Asset
/rest/2.0/get/am/asset
With this release, the response for this API will contain information about the newly introduced software.authorization and asset.criticalityScore attributes. You can include or exclude response for criticality field.

Get Host Details of All Assets
/rest/2.0/search/am/asset
With this release, the response for this API will contain information about the newly
introduced software.authorization and asset.criticalityScore attributes. You can
include or exclude response for criticality field. Using this API, you can also get the count
of assets by including these attributes in the filter criteria.

NOTE: The software.authorization attribute is available only for paid Global IT Asset Inventory subscriptions.
