Qualys Cloud Platform 10.13.2 (VM/PC) API notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 10.13.2 (VM/PC) includes updates to three APIs which are targeted for release in August 2021. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Updated Support for Using System-Created Authentication Records from Policy Compliance in Your Vulnerability Scans

With this release, you can start using system created authentication records from Policy Compliance in your vulnerability scans. Instance discovery and record creation will continue to be based on compliance scan data discovered for running instances when this option is selected in your compliance option profile. Once system authentication records are created, they can be used in compliance scans and in vulnerability scans. System authentication records will be used in addition to user created authentication records when authentication is enabled for your scans.
