Qualys Cloud Platform 2.6 (CSAM/ITAM/AV) API notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 2.6 (CSAM/AV) includes an updated API which is targeted for release in January 2022. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

API Updates for OCI Information

/rest/2.0/get/am/asset
/rest/2.0/search/am/asset
With this release, we’ve updated API v2 to get the count of assets, get the host details with OCI provider and OCI related metadata with values for the requested assetsby filtering with the newly introduced oci.compute.canonicalRegionName attribute.

User Scoping for APIs
With this release, we’ve fixed an issue where a sub user was able to get the count of assets and asset details using APIs even if the asset was not in the scope of the user.

With this fix, the user will get a response of the assets as per scope using count and list APIs.
