Qualys Cloud Platform 1.8 (Connector) API notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 1.8 (Connector) includes updated APIs which is targeted for release in August 2023. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Introduced Region Selection Parameter for AWS CSPM Connector APIs
We have introduced a new parameter for the V3 and V2 versions of create and update AWS CSPM connector APIs. The cspmRegions parameter lets you restrict asset discovery to selected regions. The new parameter prevents additional charges being levied against you by AWS for API calls made to unselected regions.

The region selection parameter for CSPM Connectors is not available by default. You must contact support to enable the parameter for your subscription.
