A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 2.16.1 (CSAM) includes updated APIs which is targeted for release in November 2023. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Include or Exclude ASN from EASM Profile

With this release, you can now include or exclude ASN when you create or edit your EASM profile. When you include ASN to your EASM profile, assets are discovered on the basis of

Include or Exclude Internet-facing tagged assets to EASM Discovery Scan
With this release, you can choose to add Internet-facing tagged assets to the EASM discovery scan. As a result, your Internet-facing tagged assets, including scanned and
cloud agent assets, are picked up as input to EASM.

Role-Based Permission for Managing EASM Profile
With this release, the super user can assign ‘Edit EASM Configuration’ and ‘View EASM Configuration’ role-based permission to restrict the EASM profile actions. This permission
is provided from the Administration application.

Check Sync Status of an Active EASM Profile
With this release, we have introduced EASM profile new statuses. By using this API, you can get the discovery status of your active EASM profile.

New field “softwareComponent” in V2 and V1 API Responses
With this release, a new field, “softwareComponent” is added to the response of certain public V2 and V1 APIs.

New Fields contributing TruRisk Score Calculation in V2 and V1 API Responses
With this release, your can see multiple new fields that are added to responses of the public V2 and V1 APIs. The values from the newly added fields contribute to the TruRisk
score calculation.
