Qualys Cloud Platform 2.7 (PM) API notification 1

A new release of Qualys Enterprise Trurisk Platform 2.7 (PM) includes updated APIs which is targeted for release in December 2023. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Create QQL-based Deployment Job Using Vulnerability and Patch QQL in Combination

Before this release, while creating the deployment job, at the time of automated patch selection, you could use either patches or vulnerabilities tokens while creating the QQL. With this release, you can use the patches and vulnerabilities tokens combination while creating the QQL.

Update QQL-based Deployment Job Using Vulnerability and Patch QQL in Combination
/pm/v1/deploymentjob/update/{deploymentJobId}
Before this release, while creating the deployment job, at the time of automated patch selection, you could use either patches or vulnerabilities tokens while creating the QQL. With this release, you can use the patches and vulnerabilities tokens combination while creating the QQL.

New Field in Get Deployment Job Summary API Response
/pm/v1/deploymentjobs/summary
With this release, you can now see a new field, additionalDynamicPatchesQQL in the response of this API. This new field is shown for jobs where the patches and vulnerabilities tokens are used in combination.

New Field in Get Deployment Job List API Response
/pm/v1/deploymentjobs
With this release, you can now see a new field, additionalDynamicPatchesQQL in the response of this API. This new field is shown for jobs created by you or for which you are a co-author where the patches and vulnerabilities tokens are used in combination.

New Field in Get Deployment by Job ID API Response
/pm/v1/deploymentjob/{deploymentJobId}
With this release, you can now see a new field, additionalDynamicPatchesQQL in the response of Get Deployment by Job ID API. This new field is shown for the specified job where the patches and vulnerabilities tokens are used in combination.

API Deprecation – Get Deployment Job Result Summary

The Get Deployment Job Result Summary API (Method – GET) will be deprecated from the next major release.
