Qualys Cloud Platform 10.26 (VM/PC) API notification 2

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 10.26 (VM/PC)) includes updated APIs which is targeted for release in February 2024. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Authenticated Scan: Hostname Detection by QID 45361

With this release, we have introduced a new parameter called linux_hostname to display the hostname in the Host Asset List and Host List Detection API. During an authenticated scan, if QID 45361 is detected on Linux host system, the hostname is now displayed in the response.

Scan Virtual Machines in GCP Cloud using Cloud Perimeter Scanning

With this enhancement, you can now scan all public facing virtual machines in GCP cloud using Cloud Perimeter Scan to detect vulnerabilities in your cloud environment. This enhancement is available to only VMSP subscriptions. To use this feature, reach out to Qualys support to enable Cloud Parameter GCP Compute Engine for your subscription.

Update: To ensure the highest quality standards are met, this feature will now be available in the Cloud Platform 10.27 release. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause you. This feature has a dependency on the Cloud Platform 3.18.0.
