Qualys Cloud Platform 4.0 (FIM) API Notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 4.0 (FIM) includes an update in the existing API, which is targeted for release in March 2024. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the coming API, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage this updated API.

Added Validation to Import Profile from CSV API

In this release, we have added validation to this API to accommodate the introduction of scan-based assets.

Scan-based assets are the assets on which Qualys Agent is not supported; however, they can be remotely monitored with Qualys Scanner.

You cannot assign scan-based assets to FIM Monitoring Profile. To ensure this compliance, we have added validation to this API. If any of the provided Asset IDs belong to a scan-based asset, the import operation for that particular profile is skipped, and an error response is generated.
