Qualys Cloud Platform 3.7 (Certificate View) API Notification 1

A new release of Qualys Cloud Platform 3.7 (Certificate View) includes updated APIs, which is targeted for release in July 2024. The specific day will differ depending on the platform. See platform release dates on the Qualys Status page. This API notification provides an early preview into the upcoming APIs, allowing you to identify use cases that can leverage these updated APIs.

What’s New?

This release enhances the Certificate View APIs to support viewing certificates and instance details for assets detected by WAS App. It introduces wasUrl and Leaf values in the API filters and responses for updated APIs.

Extended Certificates and Instance Details Support for Assets Detected by Web Application Scanning App

With this release, you can now view certificates and instance details of assets detected by Web App Scanning (WAS) app. New values wasUrl and Leaf have been added into the Filter and Response sections of the following APIs:

List CertView Certificates API (v1 and v2)

POST /certview/v1/certificates
POST /certview/v2/certificates

Additionally, wasUrl has been added to the Filter and Response sections of the following APIs:

List Assets for a Certificate API

POST /certview/v1/certificates/{certhash}/assets

List Server Instances API

POST /certview/v2/instances
