Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform (Certificate View Release 4.5) API Notification

A new release of Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform (Certificate View Release 4.5), which is released in July 2025, includes updates to the existing APIs. This API notification highlights recently released changes, enabling you to identify use cases that can benefit from the updated API.

What’s New

Revocation of a certificate means canceling the certificate before it expires. This ensures that the certificate is no longer considered valid for secure communication. We have introduced new versions of List CertView Certificates v1 and v2 APIs.

Certificate Revocation Status Enhancements in List CertView Certificates v1 API

With this release, we have added a filter to find the details related to certificate revocation. You can use revocationStatus as a filter value to get details of the response based on status.

Certificate Revocation and CipherSuite Enhancements in List CertView Certificates v2 API

We have introduced many improvements to enhance the visibility, accuracy, and usability of certificate and cipher suite data in the API responses. The API response is enhanced to include certificate revocation details, allowing you to verify if a certificate is still valid. You can now use CERT_REVOCATION_INFO in the includes parameter to retrieve the revocation details. You can use revocationStatus as a filter value to get details of the response based on status.
