This API notification highlights recently released changes, enabling you to identify use cases that can benefit from these APIs.
What’s New?
With this release, we have added the SBOM last updated date to software component details and introduced DNS search tokens for filtering unresolved domains.
Get the Last Updated Date for an Asset SBOM
The List Software Components for Specific Asset ID API response now includes the new sbomLastUpdatedDate field. This field shows the date and time when the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for the asset was last updated, making it easier to track changes to SBOM data.
Updated API: List Software Components for Specific Asset ID
POST /rest/2.0/am/asset/component/{assetId}
DTD or XSD Changes: NA
Use this API to get the list of software components discovered from the SwCA scan for a specific asset, along with the date the asset’s SBOM was last updated.
Get Unresolved Domains using DNS Search Tokens
We have enhanced the Domain APIs to support the following new DNS search tokens for fetching unresolved domains: dns.source, dns.type, and dns.value. Use these tokens in the request body to retrieve only the unresolved domains that match specific DNS records.

Use this API to get a list of unresolved domains that match the given DNS record details.
Updated API: Get the Count of Unresolved Domains
POST /rest/2.0/am/domain/count

Use this API to get the total count of unresolved domains that match the given DNS record details.
