Notice of Domain Name (.sa) addition to KSA Platform

Qualys uses country-specific domain name extensions for each of its SCP environments set up worldwide. Recently, Qualys successfully acquired the .sa domain name extension, a country-specific top-level domain for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This is an advance notification for existing customers with subscriptions on the KSA platform, prospective customers performing trials, and partners regarding the addition of the .sa domain extension to the KSA POD. This activity will take place on Tuesday, 07-April-2026, from 5:00 PM PST.

What is the scope of this activity?
The Qualys Operations team will be adding an additional domain name with .sa extension to the KSAShared Cloud Platform (SCP).
When is this activity scheduled?
The addition of .sa domain name extension will take place on Tuesday, 07-April-2026, from 5:00 PM PST, during the scheduled Quarterly Maintenance Window for the KSA Platform.

Which customers are affected by this migration?
This activity is expected to have minimal to no impact on customers with subscriptions on the KSA platform, since the existing domain name will continue to be used for some time. Please refer to https://www.qualysksa.com/platform-identification/ for help identifying your platform.
What testing has been completed?
The Qualys Operations team has completed extensive testing to ensure the addition of another domain name with .sa extension proceeds smoothly.
Will there be any customer impact during this migration?
Customers with active subscriptions on the KSA POD are not expected to experience any impact from this activity.
What actions are required from customers?
To be prepared to leverage this country-specific domain name extension (.sa), the customers subscribed to the KSA POD would need to whitelist the additional new URL/FQDN in the customer-managed Proxy Server and Firewall, as applicable.
Note: Customers are requested not to remove the existing FQDN/domain from their whitelist until further notice. Qualys will send a follow-up notification once the current FQDN/domain can be removed.
