AWS SDK v2 Support in QFlow Ends December 31, 2026

Vinayak Ghadi

What’s Changing

AWS has deprecated SDK v2 for JavaScript, and QFlow is aligning with that decision. Effective January 1, 2027, QFlow will no longer support creating, editing, or running workflows built on AWS SDK v2. SDK v3 is already the default for all new workflows and is fully supported today. Use the transition window now to migrate with confidence.

Why Now?

Continuing with SDK v2 exposes workflows to unpatched vulnerabilities, incompatibility with newer AWS services, and reduced AWS support. Migrating ensures your workflows stay secure, reliable, and future-proof.

  3. Test the workflow in a test account with relevant data.
