Release Notification: Deprecation of the “qcs-sensor” Helm Chart in Qualys Container Security
Overview
As part of our efforts to simplify deployment and provide a more consistent installation experience, the “qcs-sensor” Helm chart will be deprecated starting with Release 1.48 and will no longer be maintained in subsequent releases.

Recommended Alternative
Customers should migrate to the Qualys Unified Helm Chart (qualys-tc), which is actively maintained and provides a consolidated deployment experience for Qualys Container Security components. Unlike the qcs-sensor chart, which is limited to the General and Registry sensors, the qualys-tc chart covers all sensor types for Qualys Container Security.

Deprecation Timeline
- The qcs-sensor Helm chart will continue to be available for existing deployments for a limited period, until Release 1.48, from which it will be deprecated.

- Future improvements and support will be focused exclusively on the qualys-tc unified Helm chart.
- Customers are strongly encouraged to plan their migration to qualys-tc at the earliest opportunity.
