Qualys SaaSDR 1.17.0 Release Updates

The Qualys SaaSDR release 1.17.0 introduces new capabilities, features, and updates. The release is expected to be available by mid November 2026.

OpenAI Connector Support in SaaSDR

With the 1.17.0 release, Qualys SaaSDR introduces support for the OpenAI Connector, enabling organizations to onboard their OpenAI environment and gain centralized visibility into users, groups, memberships, pending invitations, and organizational audit events.

Once configured, the connector performs an initial full scan of the OpenAI organization, followed by incremental scans every 24 hours to keep inventory and activity information up to date. This enables security teams to monitor organizational access, review user and group relationships, track outstanding invitations, and gain visibility into important administrative and security-related activities.

The connector collects audit events across key activity categories, including login activity, project activity, user management, and API key management, helping organizations improve oversight of their OpenAI environment.
