Qualys Cloud Platform 8.11.2 New Features

This new patch release of the Qualys Cloud Platform, version 8.11.2, includes updates to shared platform features, Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys Policy Compliance SCAP scanning.

Feature Highlights

Cloud Platform

• Users & Permissions – We’ve added optional extended permissions for the scanner role allowing users with that role to add IPs to Host Assets.

Vulnerability Management

• CPE Type in Search Lists – You can now use CPE “part” value (OS, Application, Hardware) in Dynamic Search Lists, allowing you to target specific vulnerabilities for sending to the appropriate remediation teams.

Policy Compliance

• Relaunch SCAP Scan – We’ve added a new menu option in SCAP scan management allowing you to easily re-launch an SCAP scan.
