Qualys Cloud Platform (VM, PC) 8.18.1 New Features

The patch release of the Qualys Cloud Platform, version 8.18.1.0-1, includes new support for HashiCorp Vaults as well as for Virtual Scanner Appliance for OCI and OCI-Classic Platforms.

Feature Highlights

• Support for HashiCorp Vaults – This release adds a new vault type that can be used to retrieve authentication credentials from a HashiCorp vault.

To configure HashiCorp Vaults, go to Scans > Authentication > New > Authentication Vaults. Then choose New > HashiCorp.

• Virtual Scanner Appliance Support for OCI and OCI-Classic Platforms – This release adds support for Qualys Virtual Scanner Appliance for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic Compute (OCI-Classic).

      To download virtual scanner, go to Appliances > New > Virtual Scanner Appliance.

      In the Download Image Only section, click Download.
