Qualys Adds Support for Red Hat Linux for SAP Solutions

Qualys is adding support for customers who have Red Hat Linux for SAP Solutions assets in their environment.  

Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions helps with the needs of SAP workloads such as S/4HANA and SAP HANA platform. Additionally, it includes integrated intelligent management and high-availability solutions as part of the offering. This standardizes the SAP environment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions, which helps streamline operations and lower costs. 

Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions subscription works on the following environments: 

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions 
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 and higher minor releases 
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 and higher minor releases 
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.0 and higher minor releases 
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 and higher minor releases 

Currently, Qualys has Extended Update Support (EUS) on Azure cloud, container images, and EUS enabled via Subscription Manager. The enhancement will extend support to Update Services for SAP Solutions (E4S)—the service required for the customers using SAP Solutions subscriptions. 

The extended support will be added to the new QIDs starting from 2^nd June 2023. Going forward, all RHSA (Red Hat Security Advisory) that covers security updates for Red Hat Linux SAP solutions will be covered by Qualys.
