Notice of Migration of Qualys Web Malware Detection Service (MDS) From On-Prem to OCI
Last updated on: July 10, 2023
This advance notice informs customers that Qualys Web Malware Detection Service (MDS) will move from On-Prem to OCI. The migration is scheduled for 01-Aug-2023, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM UTC
What Steps Does the Customer Need To Take?
If a web application scanned by Qualys MDS has IP filtering enabled, customers are required to allowlist the following IP addresses.
139.87.105.132 | 139.87.117.219 | 139.87.104.240 |
139.87.118.41 | 139.87.105.51 | 139.87.118.242 |
139.87.119.125 | 139.87.119.5 | 139.87.117.247 |
Those using internet-facing web applications do not need to change anything since Qualys MDS will scan their applications and automatically redirect them to the new server.
Will There Be Any Impact for Customers During This Migration?
During migration, scheduled or on-demand scans may be interrupted until the platform is back online. Qualys recommends pausing scans and then resuming them once the platform is online.
